Running Olami Arizona for 20+ years, they've touched countless Jewish. With 7 kiddos and one fabulous granddaughter, they're all about family – and the Olami fam too!

RISA, Director

Mom to Jewish students on campus and young pros in Scottsdale! She runs our young professional division, teaches Torahon campus, staffs trips, bakes challah, and brings the kindness. BUT watch out for her at board games – she's SUPER competitive! Friday nights? Find Risa playing Avalon or Texas Hold ‘Em with the young professionals. You been warned!

JORDAN, President

Jordan Brumer spent 16 years teaching and inspiring college students. Now, he's the proud owner of Kitchen 18! He provides delicious food for Olami events and runs a fun Shabbat table. Jordan's known for his announcements which simply don't change. He's a hockey fanatic, wakes up at the crack of dawn to study Torah, and is found most often sleeping on the couch as Risa wins games at the dining room table!

Meet The Brandyses - UofA

RABBI YITZ

Rabbi Yitz grew up in New York, where he learned to drive like a true local—and is still unlearning it. After years studying in yeshivas in New York and Jerusalem, he’s picked up the ability to talk about just about anything—or at least nod convincingly. A musician and book lover, Yitzchok is passionate about making Jewish wisdom feel relevant, real, and connected to everyday life and relationships. He’s all about meaningful conversations, good vibes, and finding depth in unexpected places.

ADINA

Adina was raised in Brooklyn, NY, where she developed a passion for nature, music, and spending time with friends. When she left to study in Israel, she accidentally fell in love—with the Jewish people, the hummus, and the mission of making Judaism fun and accessible for everyone. When she’s not saving lives as a registered nurse, she’s probably at the beach, laughing way too hard, or trying to plan her next adventure.

Meet The Bricks - ASU

MEIR

Meir is an AEPi brother, graduated from Mizzou, and met his wife Shoshana in Israel – where they tied the knot! Meir loves diving into philosophical ideas and sharing different perspectives. He's a master at home improvement projects! Most of all, Meir loves connecting and spending time with students, especially at Shoshana's Alma mater, ASU.

SHOSHANA

Shoshana runs our program at ASU! She studied Interior Design and uses her knowledge of design to make each event on campus real eye candy! She's got a passion for cooking up a storm - her food's TO DIE FOR! Shoshana loves having lots of guests for Shabbat, making it a warm and welcoming vibe. With 3 beautiful girls and a hubby Meir, Shoshana's all about building a strong and vibrant Jewish community at ASU.
